M. Ezra Zhang is a writer and multimedia artist based in Brooklyn. Once a self-proclaimed love poet, their work is currently fascinated with the otherworldly and the absurd.

Their commissioned poetry and interactive performances have been featured at The Guggenheim, Museum of the Moving Image, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Google, Tiffany & Co., Industry City, Ludlow House, and more. They are a Best New Poets, Pushcart Prize, and Best of the Net nominee, and have participated in workshops with Tin House, Cave Canem, DreamYard, and The Adroit Journal. They hold an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University and a BA in English at from the University of Pennsylvania.

They are the founder of Saturn Wilds Motel, a platform for speculative and multimedia work, and a former adjunct professor of creative writing at New York University.
